The "credit society" in the UK, coupled with a difficult economic climate, has created problems of personal and consumer debt. The Consumer Credit Act 1974 which applied to many of these credit problems is a complex piece of legislation. This book sets out to clarify the structure of the Act and of other laws applying to personal debt.
